Hi! I’m Maureen, I am passionate about helping others and is especially devoted to addressing trauma.
With over 15 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare industry, Maureen started her career in community mental health at the Center for Healthcare services as a field Qualified Mental Health Practitioner. Maureen went on to work as a Utilization Review Specialist at a treatment center in Hunt, TX, where she was trained by a leading expert in Utilization Management. She went on to develop and manage an in-house UR and Billing team at a leading treatment facility in Georgetown, TX where she worked in a management position for eight years obtaining In-network contracts with major insurance companies.
Maureen is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW). Maureen completed a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Development at Amridge University and obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from Walden University. She is currently preparing for her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) exam. In addition, Maureen has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma.
Maureen enjoys spending quality time with her 15-year-old son, her 22-year-old step-daughter, and her husband, their five dogs and one very large cat. Maureen is passionate about helping others and is especially devoted to addressing trauma. In addition, she is committed to the well being of animals.
