How quickly can I get into your treatment programs?

Same day admissions are always available. Our admissions process usually can accommodate admissions as quickly as within an hour of your initial phone consultation with one of our caring admissions counselors. There are rare exceptions to this general rule, such as times when we may have exceptionally limited bed availability or when special circumstances pertaining to your situation may prevent us from doing so.

Am I allowed to be in touch with family members and loved ones after arrival at Crestone and during my stay?

Yes. When you arrive at our facility, one of our staff will assist you in making a call to whomever you’d like, so that you can assure them you have arrived here safely. During your stay, you will also be able to communicate regularly with loved ones by phone, and, upon request, via supervised video conference sessions.

Should I bring my medication(s) to treatment?

Yes. Please bring any medications you are currently prescribed — in their original prescription bottle.

What should I pack?

We want your recovery experience to be comfortable. The below checklist details what you should bring, and if you have additional questions, one of our admissions counselors can help:
· Enough comfortable clothing to last up to 5 days (5 shirts, pants, underwear etc.)
· 3 sets of comfortable pajamas
· Current prescription medications in original bottle and labels (if label is not present or legible, the medication will not be dispensed to you while under our care)
· Alcohol-free (not in the first 3 ingredients) toiletries/feminine products (mouthwash, toothpaste, lotions, deodorant, lip balm, make up, shampoo etc.)
· One pair of comfortable shoes and one pair of shower shoes/house shoes (bare feet outside of bedroom is against Crestone’s guidelines)
· To respect appropriate boundaries, a bathrobe is strongly encouraged. Leaving the shower area wrapped in a towel or unclothed is prohibited
· Journals, religious books, puzzle books, etc. (in small quantities)

Can I use nicotine at your facility?

We encourage individuals to consider smoking cessation. However, residents can bring nicotine to use while they are at our facility. Residents are allowed to smoke, vape and use chewing tobacco in designated outdoor areas. If a resident chooses to use nicotine while they are at our detox facility they will need to bring unopened nicotine products of their choice.

Can Crestone take my insurance?

Crestone Detox is happy to work with most major insurance companies. When you speak to one of Admissions Counselors, they will be able to verify your benefits and tell you what, if any, out of pocket costs there will be.

Do you have staff on-site 24/7?

We are proud to have a fully staffed facility 24/7, including holidays. This goes above and beyond the state and national requirements that are adhered to at most facilities, to ensure that every resident feels safe and comfortable throughout their entire stay.
